Dr. Chamberlain was raised in Central New York State. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo on a full football scholarship. He received his B.A. and M.S. degrees in biology from the SUNY at Buffalo and is an honors (Phi Zeta) graduate of the Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. He owned a small animal hospital and was in private general veterinary practice for 18 years. Dr. Chamberlain established Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery, Inc. in 1999. Dr. Chamberlain is a regular educator/trainer in the area of Veterinary Oral Health and is a frequent lecturer on oral health topics. He is past member and chairperson of the AVDC Credentials Committee and currently a member of the AVDC Board of Directors.
Dr. Chamberlain has been married to his wife, Julie, for over 34 years. Together they have a daughter, son, one grandson, four cats and a dog. Dr. Chamberlain is physically active, loves history and is an avid golfer.
