Dr. Tony M. Woodward, DVM, AVDC graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University in 1977, and subsequently attended veterinary school at the same institution, graduating in 1981. He has practiced in Colorado since graduation, focusing primarily on small animal practice. He has built and sold four private practices during his practice career.

Since 1996, Dr. Woodward has spent the majority of his time practicing small animal dentistry and pursuing education in that field. Since June 2000, Dr. Woodward has limited his practice to strictly veterinary dentistry. In March 2001, Dr. Woodward opened Animal Dental Care, one of the few practices in the United States devoted exclusively to veterinary dentistry. Dr. Woodward is Board Certified in Veterinary Dentistry, and is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College.

He is a frequent local and national lecturer on dental related topics, and teaches over 45 wet labs per year.  Dr. Woodward was elected and served as Secretary / Treasurer and later President of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
